  • Bradbeer’s is an independent department store with outlets in Romsey and New Milton, Hampshire. The business started in Southamptonin 1841. The shop was destroyed by enemy action in the Second World War, and the firm moved part of its operations to Romsey Market Place. It subsequently acquired several shops in Bell Street, and at the turn of the century bought the old Dolphin Inn in the Cornmarket. This book is a study of the history of the buildings that came together to form the shop’s present premises.
