  • Romsey Show grew out of Romsey's historic cattle markets. It was held in the Market Place in the 1830s. Since then it has become much more complex and has been held in various locations. It is now an annual event held in Broadlands Park on the second Saturday of September each year and contains much of the traditional fair in its offerings, as well as animal displays and a wealth of events in the show rings. This book charts the progress from a special market to a major show, now a significant feature in Romsey's annual calendar.
